Adult Sleep Studies

Sleep Disorder Centre Australia (SDCA) was established in 1988 and established one of the first private sleep services in Australia. Since then, over the past 25 years SDCA has been providing patients “Level 1” sleep studies, internationally recognised, and of the highest standard available, and can now offer this service within Dalcross Adventist Hospital.

An overnight sleep study typically incorporates the monitoring and measurement of brain waves to identify the stages of sleep, together with respiratory airflow and effort, snoring, heart rate and rhythm, blood oxygen levels, muscle tone and any other parameters requested by the referring physician. The sleep study is pain free and conducted in private rooms. All sleep studies are reviewed and reported by specialist sleep physicians.

Waiting lists are kept to a minimum with patient studies conducted within 2-4 weeks from receipt of referral. Please see our Referral Form.
