Dalcross Adventist Hospital is located in the leafy Upper North Shore suburb of Killara. Dalcross Adventist Hospital was acquired in 2010 by Adventist HealthCare Limited, based in Wahroonga NSW.
Adventist HealthCare Limited (formerly known as ‘Sydney Adventist Hospital Limited’), is owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and is a ‘Not-For-Profit’ organisation that operates a number of healthcare businesses including: Sydney Adventist Hospital, Dalcross Adventist Hospital, San Day Surgery Hornsby, and San Diagnostics & Pharmacy.
Caring for the community since 1912, Dalcross developed an excellent reputation as one of Australia’s foremost niche private hospitals, particularly in the areas of neurosurgery, spinal, vascular & ophthalmology.
In 2015 the neurosurgery, spinal and vascular surgery services, together with the diagnostic imaging facilities including the state of the art EOS machine have been relocated to the Sydney Adventist Hospital campus in Wahroonga. The ophthalmology service remains, a new dedicated Rehabilitation unit has recently opened, and a sleep studies service is now available.
